Ingredients Breakdown
Cream Cheese (1 tbsp / ½ ounce)
A signature ingredient in Ninja Creami bases, cream cheese helps create a rich, scoopable texture and prevents iciness.
Soften it in the microwave for easy mixing.
Sugar (⅓ cup)
Provides the right amount of sweetness to balance the bold peppermint flavor.
Helps prevent the ice cream from freezing too hard.
Peppermint Extract (1 tsp)
A little goes a long way! This gives the ice cream its iconic minty flavor.
Make sure you're using peppermint, not spearmint, for the right profile.
Whole Milk (1 cup)
Contributes to a smooth base while keeping the mixture light and scoopable.
Heavy Cream (¾ cup)
Adds richness and creaminess.
Don’t substitute this with half-and-half if you want that full, velvety texture.
Green Food Coloring (4–6 drops, optional)
Totally optional, but adds the classic mint chip green color.
Gel or liquid coloring both work—start small and add to preference.
Mini Chocolate Chips (1/4 cup)
Or use finely chopped dark or semi-sweet chocolate for that traditional crunch.
Added with the Mix-In function after the base is spun.

Mix Base: Add sugar and peppermint extract to the cream cheese. Stir with a silicone spatula or wooden spoon until it forms a smooth paste.
Add Liquids: In a separate measuring cup, combine the milk and heavy cream. Slowly pour the liquid into the sugar mixture, a few tablespoons at a time, stirring until fully combined and the sugar is dissolved.

Mix In: Reinsert into the machine and select the Mix-In function.
Serve: Scoop and serve immediately. Enjoy!
Tips for Perfect Ninja Creami Ice Cream
Always freeze for a full 24 hours before spinning for best texture.
Don't overfill the pint. Stay under the max fill line.
Use room temperature cream cheese for a smooth base.
Try remixing if the texture isn’t perfect. Use the RE-SPIN function.
Don’t stir in the chocolate before freezing. It should always be added during the Mix-In step.
Make It Your Own
🍫 Double Chocolate Mint: Add chocolate syrup or cocoa powder to the base.
🌿 Herbal Twist: Add fresh mint leaves to the cream mixture before freezing (strain before freezing).
🔪 Low-Sugar Option: Use a sugar substitute like allulose for a lower-glycemic version.
🥛 Dairy-Free: Use full-fat coconut milk and coconut cream (texture may vary).
